Concert d'orgue - Michel et Yasuko Bouvard et Marie Bouvard-Rauly
The 29/12/2024
In 1995, Michel Bouvard was appointed professor of organ at the CNSM in Paris, alongside his friend Olivier LATRY. The two have developed an original pedagogical collaboration, notably through joint weekly classes. Since 1996, Michel Bouvard has been titular organist of the historic Cavaillé-Coll organ at Toulouse's Basilique Saint-Sernin.
Yasuko UYAMA was born in Kyoto, Japan. After studying music in Tokyo, she went on to Paris, where she studied with Edouard SOUBERBIELLE and Michel CHAPUIS on organ, and Huguette
DREYFUS for harpsichord. Her studies were crowned by two international first prizes, for harpsichord (Paris, 1979) and organ (Toledo, 1980).
A refined musician and sought-after performer on all these keyboard instruments, Yasuko Uyama-Bouvard appears as soloist or with ensembles such as Les Sacqueboutiers de Janaquin...
Yasuko Uyama-Bouvard is currently professor of harpsichord and fortepiano at the Toulouse Conservatoire. She is also titular organist of the French Baroque organ
at St Pierre des Chartreux church.
Marie BOUVARD-RAULY is the daughter of Michel and Yasuko BOUVARD. Lulled by music from an early age, her career was already mapped out. But she chose the violin, which she studied in Toulouse (CNR), then in Pamiers and in Switzerland at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, where she obtained a Master's degree in interpretation in Florence Malgloire's class. She also studied
viola with Jean TUBERY. Since 2008, she has performed regularly in concert with various groups in France and Switzerland.
