Exposition du Lavoir Vasserot - Association « Les Chiens de Saint-Tropez »

From 02/05/2025 to 05/05/2025

Exhibitions of fine art photos from the eponymous books 'Les chiens de Saint-Tropez' volume 1 and 2
Following the success of the first two 'Dogs of Saint-Tropez' books, and at the request of many owners of dogs from Saint-Tropez and the surrounding villages, who had not yet been photographed, Danielle has decided to publish a third volume!

The original 'Les chiens de Saint-Tropez' project was the brainchild of Danielle Dessart, who divides her time between Maastricht and Saint-Tropez. She had the original idea of photographing the dogs of Saint-Tropez together with their owners, whether they were Tropezians or just passing through. Danielle and her team succeeded in capturing these charming scenes in the village, which are then presented in a photo-book and exhibition of the same name.

For this second volume, Danielle Dessart entrusted the organization to Brigitte Schaming, most of the photography to Line Holtermann Juge and the English translation to Leena Hybinette Bergknut. The real 'stars' of the book, the dogs and their owners, were quick to respond to this project, as was Brigitte Bardot, who once again honored us with her testimony.

The book contains many photos of dogs with their owners, young or old, plump or slim, purebred or not... whatever they are, they are all highlighted here!

The chapters are filled with anecdotes about the dogs of Saint-Tropez and their friends on the Gulf, as well as magnificent, sunny photos that reflect the typical atmosphere.

From Friday 2 to Monday 5 May 2025 between 10 am and 6.30 pm.

Free entry.
