The remarkable 18-hole Sainte-Maxime golf course, situated between land and sea, offers breathtaking views of the mountains and the Golfe de Saint-Tropez.
A MEMORABLE OCCASION, AN UNEXPECTED VISIT
Strolling through the garrigue on the Sainte-Maxime golf course rewards you with one of the most breathtaking vistas of the Golfe de
Saint-Tropez. The 18-hole, highly tricky course spans 65 hectares of rolling terrain with views of the Côte d'Azur and the Var region. It is situated between the sea and a grove of cork oaks. The first nine holes include a series of aerial tee shots, slopes, and water sections that fall towards Sainte-Maxime and then ascend back up to the clubhouse. The remaining portion of the course is played on a plateau with a view of the Maures and Esterel massifs.
A COMMITTED LEAGUE IN GOLF...
Water that is wasted is only wasted if it is not used!
In the golf industry, Golf Blue Green de Sainte-Maxime is a remarkable illustration of sustainable development. Sports enjoyment, environmental awareness, and sustainable tourism can all coexist peacefully, as the town of Sainte-Maxime and the golf course are proving by incorporating wastewater reuse into their everyday operations.
ARE YOU AFFECTED?
The golf course was the first in France to switch from utilizing drinking water for irrigation to purified water from the water treatment plant, thanks to a partnership between the town of Sainte-Maxime and Veolia.
