Lavoir Vasserot exhibition - Traces of light

From 19/06/2025 to 25/06/2025

Traces de lumière" explores inner landscapes where nature, foliage and the breath of the world intertwine. An invitation to follow the luminous imprints of a waking dream.
Sandrine Berthon studied photography in Paris at the MJM art and design school. For almost 20 years she has lived in the south of France, near Aix-en-Provence.

Through a bold color palette and dynamic compositions, Sandrine Berthon celebrates the beauty and diversity of the world around us.
Traces de lumière is an invitation to explore inner landscapes, where nature becomes memory, breath and resonance. In this new exhibition, Sandrine Berthon explores the subtle imprint of light on the plant world.

Here, time seems suspended. The forms, inspired by nature, melt into light textures and delicate transparencies, as if emerging from a memory or a dream.
Sandrine Berthon's works invite contemplation, as plants become the language of an inner world: a vibration, a breath, carried by the wind or the light of a summer morning. The foliage fades or reveals itself in the course of the work, suggesting a quest for the essential, a silent, soothed contemplation.

By merging abstraction and reality, each painting becomes a window onto inner landscapes, where nature in particular is revealed in all its splendor.
These digital works, often embellished with paint, inks or gold leaf and covered with varnish, captivate with their energy and emotion, inviting the viewer into a dreamlike exploration.

From Thursday 19 to Wednesday 25 June 2025 between 10 am and 8 pm.
