Les Conversations Iconiques d’Agnès Bouquet reçoivent Olivier Bellamy
Olivier Bellamy is "a star", as people say, to his great surprise. A star who for fifteen years hosted a daily live show on Radio Classique called "Passion Classique". Brigitte Bardot, to begin with, has been at his microphone, as has the woman who awarded him the "Marguerite de la biographie" for his book on the life of Prokofiev "Dans la gueule du loup" (Buchet-Chastel), as well as the extraordinary Argentinean pianist Martha Argerich, to whom he devoted a biography in 2010, or the violinist Renaud Capuçon, the tenor Alagna, the late Legrand, but also Luchini, Ardant, Hardy, Bouquet, the philosopher Onfray, not forgetting the French rap star Orelsan or the "Mozart of Avenue Louise" Stromae.
The list would be long as the curiosities of this sixty-year-old man, born in Marseille to a father who "played the piano by ear" and a music-loving mother, who became a journalist, then a radio host and writer, are numerous. And varied. His Conversations, more like "confessions" he says with a laugh, had something very special where his guests generally said things they had never said before. Music was the key to the event. And as conductor, the one who operated halfway between the priest and the shrink, always hitting the right note thanks to his extreme sensitivity. His book "Requiem pour un chat" (Grasset), triggered by the death of his cat Margot - "it's the silent soul of a house that's leaving" - is the most intimate illustration of this.
